Players Practicing

Intense Tennis Camps, directed by Andy Findlay, fully use Slippery Rock University's 12 outdoor tennis courts (6 lit and resurfaced), 8 new (2018) courts at nearby Grove City College, and various w. PA-area indoor courts in case of extended inclement weather. Campers may also use other SRU recreational facilities such as basketball, badminton, frisbee golf, swimming pool, sand volleyball, soccer, and indoor rock-climbing - all associated with The Rock athletic complex. Tennis pro-shop items are offered in addition to racquet stringing and repair service.

Campers are housed in AIR-CONDITIONED, TWO-PERSON, RESIDENTIAL SUITES, supervised at all times by counselors. All beds are twin-sized mattresses. We are only guaranteed "2-PERSON, RESIDENTIAL SUITES."
Please list only ONE roommate during registration. All-you-can-eat meals are provided in the newly-refurbished Boozel Dining Hall. Supervised activities include local attractions, Moraine State Park, the Grove City Outlet Mall, ARMCO Park outdoor pool, etc.

Recently opened on the SRU campus is the Smith Student Center, a $39-million facility, named in honor of former SRU President R. Smith. The 106,869-square-foot-building, funded through student fees and conceived by SRU's SGA, incorporates glass walls, a food court anchored by Quaker Steak & Lube Restaurant, a PNC Bank, a new Rocky's, a new SGA Bookstore, Starbucks, a theater, ballroom, and student meeting rooms.
